When you are planning to construct a commercial or residential pond, you’re going to need dam liners. There are various different types of dam liners based on the material used to produce them so one must do due diligence in order to choose the best.
Reinforced Polyethylene dam liners are definitely the most durable dam liners since they are reinforced to be stronger and more puncture resistant. The RPE dam liners are easy to install and they don’t need underlayment because of their strength. The dam liners are fish and plant safe and RFE dam liners are considered most durable.
EPDM Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer dam liners are very flexible and can be folded around corners easily. They cannot be welded together with heat like RPE but can be adhered with liner tape. PVC Polyvinyl Chloride dam liners are heavier but more flexible and puncture resistant. The PVC dam liners are more flexible and can be seamed together using liner tapes.
