Round cotton modules are what you see in cotton fields once the cotton is harvested. Round cotton modules typically weigh around 2000 – 2500kg and measure around 239cm diameter and 244cm wide.

The round cotton modules are then taken to a gin for processing. During the ginning process, the cotton seeds and lint are separated, with the lint being pressed into rectangular bales.

Each cotton module holds around 3.8 cotton bales, weighing around 277kg each.

The Polytex Cotton Wrap has been specifically designed to protect and preserve your round cotton modules. We have partnered with a high-quality manufacturer to give you a premium, reliable and durable product that aids hassle-free cotton picking. Round Module Cotton Wrap

round-module-cotton-wrap

Cotton wrap to suit round cotton modules.

Round module cotton wrap is an innovative product which replaces the traditional cotton harvesting method and allows for the entire picking process to be carried out by one machine and one operator.

Polytex has carefully selected manufacturers and tested critical specifications to assure a reliable, high quality wrap for non-stop and hassle-free cotton harvesting.

Strength & Durability: Polytex’s cotton wrap utilises a non-tacky base film to prevent the cotton from sticking to the wrap, followed by a structure of tacky film to ensure the module will hold it’s uniformity during transportation and processing.

RFID codes are applied to each wrap to allow for identification and tracking through harvesting and throughout the complete process.

UV Protection: Multiple layer film technology ensures high strength and protection against UV for durability while in the field.
